Schools of Choice offer a specific focus to their child's learning. Kamloops School of the Arts is a K-12 School of Choice that provides learning through music, drama, dance and the visual arts.

Lloyd George Elementary and South Sa-Hali Elementary are both Schools of Choice for French Immersion. Students are taught almost entirely in French in this K-7 program, as part of the K-12 French Immersion program in the district.
